Preparation for the Global Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.
Spanish Baccalaureate is an intensive 60 hour program divided into two courses. Classes are twice a week, each session 90 minutes. This program is ideal for students who aspire to earn the Global Seal of Biliteracy and our International Diploma of Spanish Baccalaureate which works with the American and European ranking levels in Spanish.
Lessons are with a Spanish Professor originally from Spain, who resides in San Antonio, Texas.
Working with high-quality and interactive materials from prestigious editorials like Editorial Difusión from Barcelona, and Edelsa in cooperation with Anaya.
Program Includes
Virtual Student Exchanges (3)
The Spanish Professor and students will converse with students in Spain who are studying English. Students will first practice talking in their secondary language, followed by deeper discussions with translation assistance from the professor.
Virtual Faculty Visits (3)
The Spanish Professor and students will talk to other faculty members from Spain, México, Chile, Perú or Colombia, to learn about the differences in dialects and cultures.
International Diploma of Spanish Baccalaureate
After the completion of both courses, this diploma will be awarded by our International Language School Distant Language, recognized by the Dual Language Schools Organization in the USA as a Dual Language School in Texas. This diploma will place the student on the ranking level of C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) and Superior according to the ACTFL.
