Course Features
Spanish Lessons (30 hours)
Lessons are taught by a Spanish Professor originally from Spain, who resides in San Antonio, Texas.
Virtual Student Exchange
The Spanish Professor and students will converse with students in Spain who are studying English. Students will first practice talking in their secondary language, followed by deeper discussions with translation assistance from the professor.
Virtual Faculty Visits (2)
The Spanish Professor and students will talk to other faculty members from Spain, México, Chile, Perú or Colombia, to learn about the differences in dialects and cultures.
Functional Certificate & International Diploma of Spanish for Adults (FCIDSA)
To obtain this certificate in any of the levels described above, the student must complete the hours required (see below) and pass a final oral and written test which assesses the 4 language skills: speaking, listening, writing, and reading.
